Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Cardinal Program provides a technical platform for strengthening American critical infrastructure and municipal organizations. This policy explains what information we receive through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Receive

Program sign-up information

The sign-up form asks for your name, work email address, organization, organization type, and organization website. Submitting the form opens your email application with this information placed into a draft addressed to join@cardinalprogram.ai.

Cardinal does not receive or store the information simply because you type it into the form. We receive it only if you choose to send the resulting email.

Basic website delivery data

We do not intentionally use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies. As with any hosted website, infrastructure providers may process basic request metadata—such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps—to deliver and protect the site.

2. Information We Do Not Request

The public sign-up form does not request:

  • Passwords, account credentials, or government identifiers
  • Financial, payment, health, or biometric information
  • Classified information or sensitive security findings
  • Technical details about systems, vulnerabilities, or protected assets

Please do not include confidential, classified, export-controlled, or sensitive security information in your sign-up email.

3. How We Use Information

We use information sent to the Cardinal Program to:

  • Review interest in the program and evaluate organizational fit
  • Respond to inquiries and confirm or scope potential participation
  • Administer program relationships and maintain appropriate records
  • Protect the program, comply with law, and address security concerns

We do not sell personal information or use sign-up information for third-party advertising.

4. How Information Is Shared

Sign-up information may be reviewed by authorized Cardinal Program personnel and service providers supporting program operations, email, or website delivery. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, systems, or the program.

5. Third-Party Services

Your email application and email provider process the message you choose to send according to their own terms and privacy policies. Our website hosting and security providers may process the limited technical data needed to serve and protect the site.

6. Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we receive. No email or internet transmission is completely secure, so sensitive operational or security information should not be sent through the public sign-up process.

We retain sign-up communications only for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and administer participation, maintain program records, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

7. Your Choices

  • You may browse the public website without completing the sign-up form.
  • You may close the email draft without sending it.
  • You may ask us to correct or delete information you previously sent, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Cardinal Program and its website evolve. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
